Exemptions for new interconnectors in the field of electricity

In line with the Energy Law (“Official Gazette of RS”, No. 145/14 and 95/18 –another law) (члан 167), new inteconnectors may be exempted upon request from the implementation of the rules for the access to the system, rules for the cross-border transmission capacity allocation and rules for the use of revenues arising from capacity allocation in the procedure of the establishment of transmission use-of-system charge.

The legal act on the exemption is adopted by the Agency upon the receipt of the opinion of the Ministry and, along with the opinion of the Ministry and detailed reasoning, it is published in the “Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia” and on the Agency’s website. There have been no such applications for the exemption submitted to the Agency so far.
