Energy Regulators Regional Association – ERRA will mark two decades of existence and operation on December 11. The Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia has been a member of ERRA since 2006.
ERRA’s mission is to assist the improvement of operation of its members via regular meetings and expert gatherings, liaison and agreements, exchange of experience and information based on the latest experience in this area all around the world.
ERRA members invest their time and expertise to the operation of the organization voluntarily, contribute to internal programmes for capacity building and prepare technical reports which serve as a key mechanism for the flow of expertise and the best practice among members.
In the meantime, this non-profit association has been recongnised as an important international institution which covers not only Europe, but Asia, Africa, Middle East, North and South America as well and as such, it has had an important role in accelerating energy reform and market development in Europe and other parts of the world.
Due to well-known circumstances, the jubilee which will be an occasion to summarise the results and experience and present perspective in the operation of the association as well as to present its member countries including Serbia will be organized virtually and broadcast via video-link from ERRA Secretariat headquarters in Budapest.
