By the entrance into force of the amendments to the Energy Law, as of May 2, 2021, an obligation is introduced for holders of licence for oil, oil derivatives, biofuels and compressed natural gas trade to submit all the copies of licence certificates to the Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia within a 90-day deadline so as to register the modification of the licence title that would now read: oil, oil derivatives, biofuels, liquified natural gas and hydrogen trade.
The licence issued under the former title will be valid until the deadline indicated in the licence only if the given legal obligation is complied with.
Regardless of the modification of the licence title, as it has been the case so far, if an entity intends to trade in motor fuels which are not implied by the existing licence, they are obliged to submit an application for certificate modification to the Agency.
