On the session held on 26/08/2021, the Council of the Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia has adopted a decision on compliance of texts of three network codes which regulate the connection of production units, customers’ facilities and of high voltage direct circuit systems to electricity transmission and distribution systems.

These network codes were drafted by transmission and distribution system operators, Elektromreža Srbije and Elektrodistribucija Srbije in line with instructions for drafting network codes which were adopted by the Agency and they submitted them to the Agency for the purpose of obtaining approval on their compliance with the instructions.

In line with the Energy Law, system operators will submit the harmonized network codes texts to the Ministry of Mining and Energy in order to propose the adoption of network codes to the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
