On the session held on October 23, 2023, the Council of the Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia has adopted a Methodology for Billing Unauthorised Electricity Consumption which enters into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia.
The Energy Law prescribed which cases represent unauthorised electricity consumption, i.e. what is considered to be unauthorised consumption. Methodology defines the billing method for all cases of unauthorized consumption.
In case of unauthorized consumption, the transmission, i.e. distribution system operator will bill the unautorised electricity consumption in line with this methodology and submit the bill to the person who consumed electricity without authorisation.
