On the session held on January 20, 2022, the Council of the Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia has adopted a decision on the approval of amendments to Electricity Market Code which was drafted by the transmission system operator of the Republic of Serbia EMS JSC.
The amendment refers to a segment of the Code which defines the maximum amount of balancing energy price which can be offered on the balancing market thereby providing that the price level of electricity which is delivered by the one delivering energy for the purpose of system balancing to be adequate in comparison to electricity price reached in the power exchange.
