On the session held on February 1, 2024, the Council of the Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia has adopted a decision on the approval of the decision of the Joint Stock Company “Elektromreža Srbije” which establishes Maximum Capacity Thresholds for Production Modules.
The Decree on Network Code for Connection of Production Units to Network prescribes that there are four types of production modules (A, B, C and D) and that the transmission system operator proposes limits of maximum capacity for these production units types and these are approved by the Agency.
The definition of limits for production modules types is important since, in line with the network code and the rules for the connection to the transmission system, transmission and distribution system operators define technical conditions for their connection to the transmission and distribution system depending on the type of the production module.
