Upon the request of energy entities JP EPS Beograd, EMS a.d. Beograd and the Distribution System Operator “EPS Distribucija” d.o.o. Beograd, on the session held on 31/10/2019, the Council of the Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia has approved decisions on power transmission tariffs, electricity distribution tariffs and guaranteed supply prices.
Transmission tariff was increased by 3.9%. Distribution tariff was increased by 2%.
Average power price for customers entitled to guaranteed supply at regulated prices (households and small-scale customers) was established on the basis of maximum allowed revenue and it amounts to 7.3 RSD/kWh (taxes and duties excluded) and it is higher in comparison to the current average price by 3.9%. The new price for guaranteed supply will enter into force as of December 1, 2019.
Even after this price modification, power price is still considerably lower than the prices in the countries within the region and in Europe.
