On the session held on October 23, 2023, the Council of the Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia has adopted a decision on the approval of YUGOROSGAZ-TRANSPORT LCC Transmission System Development Plan for period 2023-2032.
YUGOROSGAZ-TRANSPORT LCC submitted Transmission System Development Plan for period 2023-2032 to the Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia.
The Agency organized public consultation and invited all interested parties to submit objections, proposals and suggestions. Following the completion of public consultation, YUGOROSGAZ-TRANSPORT LCC submitted a new draft of the Plan which complied with all comments of the Agency and corrections and amendments of the data were made as requested by the Agency.
This Plan envisages the connection of the transmission system to the gas pipeline Niš – Dimitrovgrad, which is expected to be operational by the end of 2023 and this will increase the security of supply of customers in Serbia as a whole.
